About

CLUSTER FUNK STUDIO

Cluster Funk Studio is an eclectic mix of illustration, design, and printmaking. Artist and designer, Brooke Brown, uses limited color palettes, textures, and layers to create a midcentury printing press aesthetic mixed with contemporary themes. She hand draws everything in Illustrator and Photoshop. Brown explores themes of country/western, femininity, southern identity, and mythology in her works. Most include a subtle sense of humor to create unique pieces for every home. She is most known for her western critters crop tops/shirts and illustrations. This series plays off of the themes of spaghetti westerns that Brown used to watch every Saturday with her Bop. She includes child-like elements along with adult themes to honor her late grandfather as well as her childhood. These pieces bring up a sense of nostalgia and fun that appeal to a wide audience. Brown's work includes posters, cards, postcards, prints, apparel, accessories, and stickers. Everything is archival and printed in house. You can purchase products online, in stores across the world, or at markets/festivals across the nation. We also have a storefront at 413 Spears Ave. Chattanooga, Tennessee 37405.
